One of Enid’s most recognizable signs is getting a full restoration at Royal Signs in Hennessey, and this is far more than a simple touch-up job.
The famous Lotta-Burger sign is being completely rebuilt and restored by hand, just like it was originally created decades ago. Enid artist Mike Bond is carefully hand painting the sign, bringing back the classic look and craftsmanship from another era.
Royal Signs owner Terrell Prince said the project includes a full rebuild along with a complete neon restoration. Several damaged glass components are also being painstakingly recreated by a professional glass blower to match the original pieces.
When complete, the iconic sign should look just as it did in its glory days and will be reinstalled soon.
